Layering With Dies

In All About Layering 2 class most of the projects were with floral stamps that had more than three layers. This stamp set has four layers, not including the stamens of the flowers but it is very easy to layer. I used Altenew's Peruvian Lily stamp set and after stamping all the images, cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used Altenew's Dotted Swirls debossing cover die on a piece of soft grey cardstock for the background. I embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum cardstock from the same stamp set with black embossing powder. For a little sparkle I added clear Wink of Stella to the darkest section of the bloom. The gems are Nuvo Crystal Gems.

Layering Altenew's floral images give a more realistic look to the floral images without having to decide how to color and blend the images.
